Description
Inhibitor of human matrix metalloproteinases. Inhibits interstitial and granulocyte collagenases (MMP-1 and MMP-8; IC50=1.0uM), granulocyte gelatinase (MMP-9; IC50=30uM), and skin fibroblast stromelysin (MMP-3; IC50= 50uM). Retains its activity even after prolonged incubation with protease or human neutrophil elastase.
