Description
AMC fluorogenic substrates are widely used for routine assays of peptidases. A short peptide sequence is conjugated to 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin, which is released upon cleavage by peptidase. The release of fluorescent 7-amino-4-methylcoumarin can be measured. Hydrolysis rates can be measured using either a continuous or stopped assay. Excitation 380 nm; Emission 560 nm.
